ABOUT DISCOVERY AFTERSCHOOL AND LIGHTS ON AFTERSCHOOL

Discovery Afterschool is Palm Beach County's celebration of "Lights On Afterschool".  Lights On Afterschool is a nationwide event to recognize the critical importance of quality afterschool programs in the lives of children, their families and communities. It is a project of the Afterschool Alliance - a nonprofit public awareness and advocacy organization supported by a group of public, private, and nonprofit entities working to ensure that all children have access to afterschool programs by the year 2010. The nationwide events marked the 7th annual Lights On Afterschool sponsored by the Afterschool Alliance.
