Getting Started With Prime Time
How do I get started with Prime Time?
All afterschool programs – whether public or private – are eligible to receive Prime Time services. To begin, you simply should contact Mary Swinford, Community Resource Manager by phone at 561-732-8066, ext. 110 or email her at mswinford@primetimepbc.org. She will explain what Prime Time does and help you determine which services are most appropriate for you and/or your afterschool program.
What if I am new to the afterschool field and just want to learn a little more on my own?
Prime Time has developed self-paced, online courses to introduce you to the afterschool field and to local quality standards. TrainU Anytime is Prime Time's online educational platform and currently includes two online courses:
- Getting Started in Afterschool
- Quality Standards for Afterschool
Both courses are based on the established Palm Beach County Quality Standards for Afterschool. If you are just starting up an afterschool program or setting goals for quality standards in your existing program, these courses will offer you practical support, guidance and information to apply to your daily work as an afterschool practitioner.
All afterschool programs in Palm Beach County are eligible to register for TrainU Anytime online courses. To register or for additional information, please contact:
