Breathe, Believe, Achieve: Shifting perspectives and transforming outcomes

On Thursday, November 21, 2019, Prime Time will feature an impactful film titled “Room to Breathe,” that will take a deep dive into the need for social and emotional learning (SEL) for our children, youth, families and educators. Through the stories told by young people, viewers will learn how mindfulness shifted the climate and culture of their school. Following the film, attendees will be invited to join in a discussion and engage in activities to help deepen adult SEL practice.

Room to Breathe Film

Room to Breathe explores the personal transformations that happen for students, their families, and educators as mindfulness is introduced in a truly challenging public school environment. By providing a raw and realistic look at the experience, it shows how integrating mindfulness, along with patience, skill, collaboration and more, can transform even the most difficult classrooms.
