Comestible Crystals (Grades 3-8)

Do you love science AND food?! If so, this kitchen chemistry experiment is the perfect mix. Join Kristian as he explains the crystallization process of sugar and how we can use that to perform some sweet science! Adult supervision is required.  

Materials: 

  • Sugar
  • Cups
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Food coloring
  • Clothes pins
  • Aluminum foil
  • Flavor extracts (optional)
