Yolanda Adams

With over 30 years of experience in youth development, Yolanda joined Prime Time being able to fully understand the role of an afterschool professional because she spent 17 of those years as an afterschool director. Yolanda also worked in the early childhood field as a Head Start teacher and a Head Start family services specialist. Yolanda is a certified professional coach and works in partnership with OST directors and practitioners providing onsite coaching, modeling, and reinforcement of positive youth development practices. She is Youth Worker Methods Trainer and External Assessor from the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality. Yolanda earned a bachelor’s degree in early care and education from Florida Atlantic University, magna cum laude (that’s with great distinction).
