Now Accepting Workshop Proposals
Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. is requesting workshop proposals for its Afterschool Symposium 2020. Workshops will be presented on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15, 2020.
This year’s theme, Healthy Minds, Healthy Youth, focuses on the significance of positive mental health and the enduring impact that self-care has on our profession and in the lives of children and youth. Our theme is a call to action, encouraging attendees to take charge of their well-being, identify signs of concern in their youth, and advocate for healthier communities.
We are seeking educational workshops that share best practices and inspire afterschool professionals to focus on their own well-being, identify and support youths’ emotional and behavioral needs, feel empowered to impact the whole child to include social, emotional, behavioral and cognitive facets and empower youth to change their communities. Workshops should be engaging, educational, experiential and enlightening.
