Out-of-School Time Resources

Prime Time Palm Beach County has created a one-stop shop for gathering a wide range of resources to support out-of-school time practitioners run their programs virtual or in-person.  All resources provided should not be considered as advice, guidance or requirements. The resources provided do not attempt to interpret government orders.

Games for social distancing that are organized by age group and spaces where they can be played.

Local content experts, also known as Prime Time's expanded learning opportunities, are offering in-person and virtual programming to Palm Beach County's afterschool programs.

Activities for age groups K-2, 3-5 and 6-8, provided by local content experts in Palm Beach County.

Mizzen by Mott inspires, engages and sparks learning in young people. With activities from premier organizations like Jazz at Lincoln Center and powerful management tools, this new app can help you strengthen your afterschool program. Supported by the Mott Foundation, Mizzen is available at no cost to afterschool professionals!

Interactive camps taught by expert instructors that consists of five sessions, starting on Monday and ending on Friday. Sign up for one camp, or all of them, completely free!

Technology

INCREASE BANDWIDTH

If your program anticipates being open on or after Aug 31st, we encourage you to reach out to your internet provider today to increase your bandwidth capacity to ensure all children and youth in your program have access to the internet.

Explain to your internet provider the need for an increase in bandwidth and encourage them to offer your program promotions or an assessment of your account to lower costs to allow for this addition on your subscription. Virtual Professional Development

Prime Time Palm Beach County is offering professional development in an online format for practitioners. OST practitioners in Palm Beach County who are currently not receiving an income, specifically front line staff, a $45 stipend for each three-hour professional development training that is completed.
